Targeting Support Meetings (TSMs)

Schools' responsibilities at TSMs

The school’s Senior Attendance Champion must be present at the meeting alongside any other member of staff who has an important role in maximising and supporting attendance.

This may include:

  • Attendance Officer
  • SENCO’s
  • Disadvantaged leads
  • Pastoral Staff
  • Designated Safeguarding Lead or Deputy
  • Heads of Years

Schools are expected to take notes of advice, guidance and actions presented at the meeting. All notes from the meeting are the responsibility of the school.
