Banding descriptors are used to support a fair and equitable distribution of resources for EHC plans (EHCPs).
The Banding Descriptor Matrix has been developed to help allocate top-up funding for EHC plans.
This work will be completed as part of an EHC needs assessment. It’s not designed to be used as part of a request for an EHC needs assessment.
