SEND training

One Planning is our approach in Essex to carrying out the requirements of the SEND code of practice. It’s a way of completing the graduated approach (assess, plan, do, review) in a person-centred way.

This virtual training introduces staff working in educational settings to:

• One Planning and its key concepts
• a range of support resources and materials

Attendees will be encouraged to develop knowledge and skills through attendance at One Planning 'surgeries' run within their clusters by inclusion partners.

Who is the course for

Primarily, SENCOs and those with key roles within educational settings focusing on SEND. However it is beneficial to all educational staff including setting managers, and school and college leaders.
