Pupil premium and disadvantaged learners

Pupil premium strategy, education disadvantage, funding, guidance and support.

Pupil premium is additional funding for publicly-funded schools to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities.

Schools receive this funding to support eligible pupils and narrow the attainment gap between them and their peers.

School effectiveness partners (SEPs) support raising the achievement of disadvantaged pupils through the allocation of days to school-led improvement partnerships or for individual schools through traded days.
