Welfare Call

Welfare Call provides us with an online platform to allow us to produce and manage PEPs.

We track children in care (CiC) attainment and progress through the PEP documents that are stored on Welfare Call and are completed following PEP meetings.

Each school or setting has a username and password. Those who use it can view the following:

  • information about all CiC at their school or setting
  • details of the social worker and IRO allocated to each child
  • previous PEPs
  • prior attainment and each child's current attendance

The responsibility for the pupil premium plus grant (PP+) for CiC lies with Essex Virtual School. PP+ requests are made on PEPs through Welfare Call.

If the designated teacher details change, contact us at virtual.school@essex.gov.uk
