Benefits of climate action for schools

Climate action is a key priority for ECC. Schools that act now will:

  • benefit from lower energy costs and efficiency savings
  • get support to enhance student and staff wellbeing through greener, healthier school environments
  • develop leadership, skills and career-building opportunities for students
  • contribute to a more sustainable future for Essex communities
