Essex County Council’s attendance system: Different Class
The Quality Assurance Team has introduced an attendance software (Different Class) that allows schools to view daily attendance for all pupils on their roll who are accessing non-school alternative provision commissioned by the council. This system provides live attendance data using standard DfE codes and includes details of each student’s timetable with their alternative education provider.
In addition to tracking attendance, the system can securely store key documents for each student, such as planning and review meeting notes, One Plans, Essex PRU Passports (EPPs), EHCPs, and progress reports.
All Essex schools should now have received login credentials for the platform: Access the system.
