SLCN support

We can support children and young people with the following issues:

  • autistic-spectrum disorders
  • cleft palate and velopharyngeal abnormalities
  • fluency disorders, for example, stammering and stuttering
  • feeding, eating or drinking disorders
  • hearing impairments
  • neurological speech and language difficulties
  • speech, language and communication difficulties

As part of our support services our therapists:

  • assess and diagnose difficulties
  • develop intervention plans and work with families and carers to implement them
  • decide when treatment is complete and children and young people are discharged
  • support onward referrals
