Model safeguarding policies
The model safeguarding policies can be found in the secure area, they include:
- behaviour and relationships policy
- child protection policy
- bereavement policy
These can be adapted for your specific school setting.
Model harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) policies can be found within Appendix E and Appendix F downloads on our Child on child abuse and harmful sexual behaviour web page.
Safeguarding letters

- school visitors
- new headteachers
- DSLs
