We’re building an online self-care library of resources for children and young people (CYP) to help support their SEMH needs.
Self-care is a priority and key focus to support CYP across Essex, Southend and Thurrock.
We asked schools, settings and several CYP groups to share their views through a questionnaire and support this work.
For the findings from their feedback download our Self-care and the Impact of social media on mental health document (Word, 1.44MB).
We’re now working with partners across education, health and social care and CYP, families, schools and settings to build our ‘Self-care for CYP library’ based around the themes this feedback identified.
The idea is to create resources for each of the following groups for each identified theme:
- early years age phase
- primary age phase
- secondary + age phase
These resources are currently being developed and will be added to this page as they become available.
Once they are available you will then be able to share them with CYP and their families to help and support their SEMH needs.
