These events and networks are led by the council and our partners. They are designed to engage students with climate and sustainability and support student voice and leadership.
Networks
Essex Schools’ Climate Action Network (ESCAN) is a network of students and teachers championing climate action across Essex. The network’s primary focus is to get young people involved with climate action. The goal is to have student ESCAN ambassadors representing each secondary school, college and sixth form in Essex.
ESCAN meet every term and produce a regular newsletter. If your school has keen students who would like to get involved, or an extra-curricular club or society that would like to send representatives, please get in touch.
