The Essex practice in relation to Personal Education Plans (PEPs) is:
- Schools and education establishments complete the PEP1, using CLA Tracker, each term
- Social Care arranges a PEP meeting in line with statutory framework
- Following the PEP meeting, Social Care completes PEP2, in which a record of the meeting is made and decisions agreed as to how the professionals around the child is to be supported to achieve the educational objectives in PEP1.
