The Early Years Foundation Stage
(EYFS) framework is for all early years providers (from 1 September 2014): maintained schools; non-maintained schools; independent schools; all providers on the Early Years Register; and all providers registered with an early years childminder agency. The EYFS sets outs a framework to support children’s learning and development from birth to the end of their first year in school.
